Just a quick thank-you to yourself , Quinny , Malcolm and Jason for all the great work you guys did with Thomas over Winter 2010. The vast learning curve that cricket is was explained clearly and in a manner that related well to all the young fellas. Thomas loves the game and all the challenges ahead and part of his new-found confidence was a direct result of outstanding direction and good humour in a terrfic atmosphere of learning. To any parent considering this - just do it ! The best cricket coaching/theory/practice you will find anywhere - CheersTestimonials

To the Management of Gillespie Sports Centre
"We would like to thank all involved in the Gillespie Sport Centre for the coaching and encouragement given to our son Niclas. He has gained experience that I feel he would not have received elsewhere in South Australia. In the lessons Niclas had with leg-spin specialist Peter McIntyre his skill level has increased enormously. We look forward to another five lessons with Peter prior to the start of 09 season.
Thank you to Paul for his support and professional approach to Niclas’s cricket."

Our son Jake is, aged 11 years and has been playing junior cricket for 3 years and would not listen to what my wife and I would say to him to try and help him improve. When Gillespie Sports Opened, we decided to send him for some coaching so he could learn the correct way to play the game. From the very first lesson his confidence in his own ability and started to grow. He's just completed his fifth and final lesson, for now, prior to the new season starting and he is a totally different player. His confidence is high and he now knows when he's doing something wrong. Many thanks go to Paul, Greg and the whole team at Gillespie Sports, we will be back so Jake's development Continues.
Regards

Hi Paul,
I thought I would drop you a note to let you know how Darcy's cricket season went after the training he did with Greg Quinn at your centre.
Darcy is mainly a medium pace bowler. However he trained with Greg in May- June focussing on his batting in an attempt to improve his chances of making the Tea Tree Gully district squad.
There is no doubt in my mind that the batting training was instrumental in his success this season.
Playing for South Gawler he went from batting at 9 or 10 to opening the batting and being the 2nd highest run scorer in the team.
At Tea Tree Gully he won the under 14 whites bowling trophy and was leading the competition with 14 wickets at the Christmas break. He then moved to the Reds for the rest of the season. Whilst he didn't make any high scores with the bat he was used to shore up the batting and steady the ship so to speak.
Darcy also played Country cup, Ray Sutton and SAPSASA where his batting also came in handy.
This year Darcy played more cricket than in he previous years combined. His confidence in his batting is definately due to the training he did with Greg and time willing Darcy will be back this year and hopefully my younger son Brock will attend also.
Please pass my thanks on to Greg. Thanks also to you Paul. It is about a
1/2 hour trip to train at your centre but you and your team have made it very worthwhile.
I would appreciate it if you could forward this to Jason Gillespie. I would like him to know of our appreciation of your service.
Yours sincerely
Russell Smith
